MUM Trustee's documentary film to be screened

An award-winning documentary film produced by Maharishi University of Management Trustee Dr Joni Steele Kimberlin will be shown in a pre-release screening on the MUM campus in Fairfield, Iowa, USA on Saturday 11 June.

The film features a diverse group of accomplished women speaking about the 'inner fire' that prompts them to make the most of their wisdom and experience. The group includes actress Jane Fonda, poet Nikki Giovanni, Nobel Laureate Jody Williams, Buddhist nun Tenzin Palmo, and oceanographer Sylvia Earle.

Also featured are Flordemayo and Agnes Baker Pilgrim, members of the International Council of the 13 Indigenous Grandmothers, who spoke at a women's conference on the MUM campus last October; and Linda Leitch, a longtime practitioner of the Transcendental Meditation Programme—with a special guest appearance by legendary singer-songwriter Donovan Leitch.

The feature-length film has won awards and has been an official selection at film festivals throughout the United States.

Dr Kimberlin, who is also an alumna of Maharishi University of Management, received an honorary doctorate in 2006 from Maharishi University of Enlightenment.
